What You May Want To Know
My name is Ashley Rieflin, I am a writer and visionary, with a quirky spirituality. I grew up in the country where my mom bred and showed Quarter Horses. I first sat on a horse when I was two weeks old. Other than horse back riding, I also hoop dance, and do yoga. Let's just say, I am not a fan of conventional exercise.
Ever since I could remember, I wanted to be a famous singer or actress. I used to sing in the local All-County Chorus, competed at NYSSMA, and performed in high school musicals. The only thing I couldn't do was dance. I really hate dancing. Which put a damper on performing in musicals.
I am also an amateur photographer, amateur videographer (so amateur that I still haven't apologized to my Barbies for making such outrageous movies about them), and frisbee player.
At the moment I am learning how to play the mandolin and the drums.
My real passion is writing. I have written novels, poems, short stories, essays on English theory, hard news stories, personal profiles, and quirky "How-To" Blog Posts. I am always itching to write more. About anything. Anywhere. If it involves putting words to paper (or pressing down on keyboard keys) than I am anxious to do it.
